TRANSFORMATIVE LIFE SKILLS with DMind
Students learn better when they are able to effectively manage their stress.
Dynamic Mindfulness provides students and teachers with tools for stress management, self-awareness and self-regulation.
These skills are the keys to academic success and greater well-being.
Mindfully Resilient can support students directly through DMind instruction based on the CASEL- endorsed Transformative Life Skills curriculum. We offer 4 12-lesson units of study for students grades 6-12: stress reduction, self awareness, self regulation, and healthy relationships. We can also train student leaders to lead this work with peers, family and community members.

FROM THE DMind WEBSITE:
Teaching Transformative Life Skills to Students: A Comprehensive Dynamic Mindfulness Curriculum is one of just four mindfulness programs that has met the strict CASEL – Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning research criteria for Social Emotional Learning programs.
Our Transformative Life Skills program is evidence-based and trauma-informed. The practice and instructional language of Dynamic Mindfulness helps students to feel safe in their own bodies and regain control of their behavior and emotions.
With this curriculum, your students will have the tools for increased learning readiness, and better management of their stress and emotions. Students are better able to handle trauma and often display increased prosocial behavior.
The four 12-lesson units progressively build on each other in these key areas:
- Stress Management
- Self-Awareness
- Emotion Regulation
- Healthy Relationships
With 48 lessons lasting 15 minutes each, the Dynamic Mindfulness curriculum can be delivered in an academic semester (three times/week x 16 weeks).
PRAISE FOR THE CURRICULUM
“A comprehensive, empirically-supported, social-emotional-skills-accredited approach that powerfully helps youth develop self-awareness, self-regulation, and empathic connection with others. Applying fundamental principles of mindfulness to accessible movement techniques, this wonderful book offers teachers a clear and useful guide to “dynamic mindfulness” and how to create a foundation of knowledge for students that will enhance their well-being and executive functions. Bravo to the brilliant pioneers who have courageously created such an important contribution to the field of education!”

“For many students and educators, schools are stress-filled rather than stress-free environments. Teaching Transformative Life Skills (TLS) hopes to change that, providing a wonderfully simple roadmap for moving in that direction. As educators grapple with the best way to create and sustain rich environments for social and emotional learning, TLS offers an accessible, thoughtfully designed and research-based approach. There’s little doubt that the time spent implementing TLS will pay dividends across the board for students, teachers, and the broader school-community.”
