About

WHAT WE DO

Mindfully Resilient programs and coaching use targeted practices from

  • mindful awareness training (static and dynamic, formal and informal)
  • science of happiness (positive and pro-social psychology) and
  • high performance training (life hacks for working with intention and efficiency)

to offer educators and students simple, portable, and sustainable ways to

  • manage stress
  • improve and adjust focus
  • increase self-awareness and self-regulation
  • increase compassion for self and others
  • decrease time urgency and decision-making fatigue
  • increase overall energy and adjust energy to fit the situation
  • increase equanimity (that sense of abiding calm that can remain, whatever your circumstances)
  • increase sense of efficacy (the sense that we do have choice, and we can make an impact in our communities and our lives)
  • enjoy - and appreciate - each day more, for a healthier, more balanced outlook.

All our programs offer a variety of practices; you decide how and when to weave them into your daily and weekly routine, and when to use them to suit an individual situation.

Most practices take just a few minutes, or even just a breath, while others may be expanded to ten, twenty, or even thirty minutes, depending on your own needs and interests.

Mindfully Resilient's roster of courses and coaching offerings is carefully curated and designed to help you achieve the results you want with relative ease and speed, and with joy every step of the way.

WHO WE ARE

Laurie Pitts is the Founder of Mindfully Resilient, bringing over 20 years of experience as an educator and mindfulness practitioner to serve youth, families, and educators who want to conquer stress, nurture vibrant energy, find the time to do all they dream of, support their communities, and create their best lives, one breath at a time.

"I practice and share mindful resilience because these are the skills I wish someone had taught me as a fledgling educator, and skills I wish I had learned to offer my students from my first days of teaching.  These practices have become my own go-to toolkit for health and well-being, and I sharing them with others is my passion.  With these tools, educators and their students can work through their stress and develop their sense of choice in every moment - even challenging ones, so they can move through their daily lives with self-awareness, focus, and (self)compassion.  Using these skills to shape our days, together we can empower ourselves to create lives we love and to serve our communities with courage and compassion too." - Laurie

Laurie is also co-creator of The Mindfully Resilient Educator workshops, as well as a certified Dynamic Mindfulness Trainer & Coach, Mindful Schools-trained classroom educator for youth and kids, budding CARE (Cultivating Awareness and Resilience in Educators) facilitator, consultant to school districts and schools, and freelance enthusiast/instigator for mindfulness-, high performance, (self)compassion, and science-of-happiness practices.

Let’s work together! Crafting solutions just for you is what Laurie loves to do, so please contact her to get started today.
